Ryan Braun wins 2011 National League MVP award

What does a .332 avg, 33 HRs, 111 RBIs, 109 runs scored, and 33 stolen bases get you?  A National League MVP award. Not only did Braun lead the Brewers to a franchise best 96 wins, they also made the postseason. Braun led the NL with a .597 slugging percentage and was tops in the league with 77 extra base hits. An incredible season.


SAM BAT Gives Back!

On May 18, 2010, the owners of SAM BAT made their way into the auditorium of Alfred E. Smith Career and Technical Education High School, to announce the donation of 250 baseball bats. The bats, valued at $30,000 will be given to various teams across the New York City Public School System. Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers and The Original Maple Bat Corporation (“Sam Bat”) are pleased to announce today the launch of the “RB8,” a new Sam Bat professional-quality maple baseball bat model.
